WHAT ARE THE CHILDCARE SUBSIDY RATES?
You could have an estimate before you apply.
The estimation is based on household income, your child’s age, the type of program your child attends, and the hours your child spends at the program.
You won’t know the exact amount unless you successfully apply. Follow this link to the Alberta Government website with subsidy details:
AFTER APPLYING FOR CHILDCARE SUBSIDY
The application will take time, but you may receive a conditional 2-month subsidy as your application is assessed.
The subsidy doesn’t come to you but goes straight to the licensed program(s) on your behalf.
Once the subsidy has been approved, and the Subsidy Approval Letter is received, email a copy to liz_polyak@hotmail.com
